I have a 2007 which I love the handling and hydraulic steering.

I have yet to drive a 2012 but wonder if it will be the same driving experience?

 

There is no difference between them since they are basically same model generation.

 

I've notice when I had +10 RDX as loaners the suspension felt more compliant on the road and bumps. It still felt sporty when driving; but, more refined when the road got bumpy. It also might have been because my 08 had +75,000 miles and the +10 RDX were new?

 

Yes. I recall that the 2007 received a lot of complaints for stiff suspension. I like it because of that. I heard that in 2008 they softened it a bit.

Just wondering if the hydraulic steering is still present on 2012s?

 

All suspension elements between 07 and 2012 models have the same part #s. So, no the suspension was not softened.

Since mechanically this is the same model, there was no change in steering mechanism.

 

Call me crazy but I test drove a 2007 and found the ride very stiff.

When I tried a 2009 two years later, however, I found the ride much more comfortable.

So I bought one. lol

If they are mechanically the same, that makes no sense. But that's how butt dynos work.
