i have a 2007 rdx.
i sat in a 2010 rdx and noticed that it's virtually identical except for the new grille and rear license plate area treatment.

does anyone know if its possible to just swap the 2010 grille and rear license plate area onto a 2007?

 

You'd have to swap the whole front end. Bumper, hood, headlights, and fenders are all different. The rear would require a whole hatch swap I'd imagine.

 

Why in the world would you want to "degrade" the looks of your 2007? Granted, it's just my opinion, but the 2007-2009 RDX is way classier looking than the 2010. I love the full body colored bumpers instead of that black plastic facia, etc. I like the '07-'09 wheels better. I like the '07-'09 fog lights better. And, the "beak" is for the birds!

If you truly want the 2010 RDX look then just trade your '07 in for a '10. The cost and effort it would take to make a '07 look like a '10 is unfathomable.

 

If you don't like the looks of the 2010 look in the aftermarket for solutions. Ron Jon has come up with replacement grilles for the TLs, and they look great in my opinion. Perhaps you can work a deal with them for your RDX by making it the "test" car.

I agree. The new beak look of the 2010 model isnt growing on me at all. The rear lic plate trim would be a nice touch, but that's it.
