Bumping this thread as I'm diving into some preventative maintenance now that I've dealt with some other issues. Here is what I have done and what I'm planning to do - any suggestions or feedback are welcome. Mileage is just shy of 195K.

Done:

New front LCAs, swaybar links & bushings. The Progress Tech rear swaybar & bushings are relatively new. Front & rear shocks & coils are ~30K old.

New front CV axles + intermediate axle, bearings & hubs, and speed sensors.

New tie rods (inner + outer) and a new rack - although still dealing with noises that are potentially caused by the replacement rack...

New intake, intercooler, and bypass valve.

New PCV valve and VTC strainer/gasket.

Oil has been done very 5k and oil filter every 10k since about 130k miles. Last full flush was at 170k and the next one will be at 200k except brakes; bleed & fill was just performed.

Planned:

New rear hub/bearing assy + speed sensors.

New rear swaybar links .

New plugs + coilpacks. Considering a valve adjustment and new valve cover gasket too.

New power steering pump & inline filter (maybe this will fix my steering noises?)

New alternator belt (last done at 110k) and tensioner.

Full engine bay de-greasing & cleaning now that I (hopefully) fixed my oil leak with the VTC strainer gasket.

Switching to shorter fluid intervals...
-Oil 3x every 10k (still one filter very 10k - unless there's a benefit to shortening this too? I use STP XL filters "rated" for 10k mi)
-Rear diff every 20k
-Trans & xfer case every 25k
-Coolant every 30k

Also, going to upgrade the front lower ball joints & swaybar links to Mevotech TTX which are greaseable, so those will become part of my regular service. We have some crazy potholes in my area.

Lastly, I've read mixed things about pre-emptive replacement of the timing chain. The rough consensus seems to be that it's less likely to be needed when you're good about doing frequent oil changes. That said, I want this car to last at least 300-400k, so I'm willing to 'invest' in this motor to keep it going.
