2007 RDX Cargo-Liner
Canadian RDXers, a question ...
I am considering getting a cargo liner for my 07 RDX, I can already see some wear on the trunk carpet from getting 2 strollers in and out. Add to that the fact that they will be wet in the winter ... so I think some protection is required back there.
I called my dealer, the price is $237. I told em I wanted em at cost (that was part of the deal when I bought), so they dropped that down to $176 CDN. Still seems high. Anyone buy cargo liners for their RDX? Is there a good online place to get them that ships to Canada? I have seen a couple of sites, and prices are cheaper .. but one doesnt ship to Canada and the other has a minimum of $500 purchase for shipping to Canada.

I purchased the cargo liner as an option with my 2008 RDX and basically paid full price for it...on my bill of sale it was $257. I've seen others on this forum buying accessories on e-bay, I've not tried that myself, but you may want to check on e-bay for the cargo liner. Well worth the $257 IMO, it is very durable and covers the full cargo area and goes up the sides as well, attached by velcro. Good on ya if you can get it at cost

I understand your frustration. The Canadian prices are ridiculous...and the dealers seem to be unwilling to match the U.S. prices.
I ended up buying my cargo net ($32) and cargo liner ($142) from curry acura and shipping it down to a relative in boston (which was free before sept. 30th)...and then he'll ship back up to me....even with shipping and IF I get taxed across the border...it's still way cheaper than getting them here.

eBay is the way to go. Curry Acura is also a good source for the RDX accessories.
I paid $50 for a MINT RDX cargo tray, but the shipping was $20, which was fair. $70 for a mint cargo tray is an awesome deal.

well, all the ebay listings are for about $135 US, with about 30-40 bucks shipping to Canada. So driving to my dealer and getting it for $176 is about the same deal, with only a 1 day delay for them to get one in. I might just go down that route, but will check online a bit more, maybe for a non-OEM liner.

zuzzu, that's not a bad idea to look for a non-OEM liner. I found some Michelin all-weather mats for about $35 CDN at Costco. I would have preferred the RDX ones, but at around $200 from the dealer, I figured the cheapies will do.

Even if the price was close to the dealer's price on eBay, I would still get an OEM version of the cargo mat, simply becuase it fits 100% perfect on the trunk board and looks great.
I just happened to be lucky that day of my searches; you will find stuff like this once in a little while.
I got all my parts at dealer cost, but labor was not discountable; the only parts I got were the diffusser and the front spolier. I was sure that cheaper parts will be available on eBay sooner or later.

Just for clarification: there are two items beign discussed here, right? The cargo tray (stiff plastic mat that covers the place that the cargo lid sits in) and the cargo liner (large tarp-like object that covers the entire cargo area).

Zuzzu - you may want to check out the Weathertech Cargo Liner. I just received my front floor liners that I ordered for my RDX and am considering getting the cargo liner. The price for the front liners was $125 and the cargo liner is about the same.
We have the front and rear floor liners plus the cargo liner for my wife's Toyota 4Runner. They are one of the best accessories we have ever purchased - especially with our two kids, an umbrella stroller and all the gear we haul around for the kid's activities.
If anyone is interested, I am considering selling my front Acura RDX Floor mats and cargo mat...

Go to Home Depot or Lowes
Got a 5x7 tarp for 10 bucks that covers the rear just fine. One side of the tarp is waterproof smooth and other like cloth.
When it wears out get another for 10..lets see at that rate you can get about 30 tarps for the price of ONE bedliner
