2007 Console Lid Replacement

I replaced my console lid using a Dorman 924-886 replacement lid I purchased on eBay. It took about 15 minutes from start to finish and although it's not a perfect color match, I'm happy with it.

Thumbs up

Great job, every-time I buy a new console lid it just gets damaged so fast. I try to get cheap ones on eBay as well but the color is always terrible. That one looks good much much was it?

This is pretty cool. I have black replacement leather for my 2007 Acura RDX, but the Dorman product will save so much time, since I don't have to strip and replace the leather.

I'm tempted to just buy it.

Anyone replace just the leather cover? I purchased that from ebay but didn't install it yet.
What size Staples are used & anyone add any additional padding to it?
