Hello all,
I have an 07 Rdx key will not come out of ignition! I did the following already lubed the part on the back side of the ignition switch still did not work. I unplugged the green connection which I believe is the immobilizer once disconnected the key comes out. I did see posts on this site about Switch pin set in the shifter, does anyone have any info on how to replace this??

When mine did this, I had to replace the entire ignition assembly. Luckily the key came out, sometimes they have to cut it. I had my dealer do the work do I'm not sure what's involved specifically, but this is a really interesting problem the 1G RDX has.

I had to complete a random combination of starting the car, shutting it off, applying the brake, etc. Eventually it came out. It's happened twice since my wife has had the vehicle.

Eh. Yeah definitely a weird problem, you certainly found a way around it tho which is commendable.

Had the same thing happen, I ended up tracing the issue back to the ignition switch. quick fix and haven't had an issue since.
