I still like the RDX. I am a fan of the turbo. There are some things the bother me about though. Only problem is that I have been reading about the Q5 and I am like damn. It will have must of things that I want on the RDX. The price will probably keep me in the RDX. Just sharing my thoughts.

Ditto...there are many things out there I wish the RDX had, Ipod interface and the radio information thing that tells you the station name and the song, and all of that. These are two things that there are no reason why they are NOT in the RDX.....We are not talking about hardware here....come on Acura!!!

You have to remember that the RDX was in development four or five years ago and we get the tech that was available at the time. I guess poor sales have prevented any new tech features until maybe the '10 MMC, if that is going to happen.

Not true....the technology that I am talking about was available then and it was even common in cars of "lesser status"...Don't you think that the competition also had to develop their cars for a few years before launch? how come they have some of that technology?

If you ripped the CD's with the correct information....for people like me that have burned a number of CDs before the information was autofilled from the web, you end up with a lot of songs named "track 01"...

I agree with you that some tech was available years ago, but the ESL system in the RDX is Gen 1, which was introduced in the 2004 TL. The new TSX and TL have Gen 2, which the RDX will probably get next model year. That includes XM Weather, RDS on FM, and MP3 display rather than the "Aux" message now.

Okay, let's be clear here, the RDX was introduced as MY2007 and they put in it something that they introduced in the MY2004? That's unacceptable, this is supposed to compete with the BMW X3, Land Rover and Lexus....seriously, no excuse.

Correction: The Gen2 ELS system still shows "Aux" for mp3 players. You have to use the USB connection to view mp3 info on the nav screen.

It's too bad they can't make the MDX as fun as the RDX. We love our RDX but is in desperate need of more room. It would be very sad if we're forced out of the RDX into some other brand to make more room in the family car.
