The rear hatch will not open unless I crawl through the back seat, remove the tiny access panel and manually open it. Is this a dealer-fix or DIY? Any thoughts welcomed.

 

Chances are it's one of two things.

1. Door actuator is broken.

2. Fuse that powers the actuator has popped.

I assume the actuator is replaced through the same access panel you are using now, but I'd have to get back there and look for myself to be sure. Unfortunately I do not know which fuse it is, but I recommend starting with the interior fuse panel if you want to check. Maybe someone else can chime in and correct me on this if I'm wrong though.

 

Do you have a problem with any of the other door latches on the left side of the vehicle?

 

No problems with any other door latches.

 

do all the doors lock and unlock with the keyless entry?
