NSX with Celica lights

I was inspired by a Sorcery conversion I saw a while back on a widebody with celica headlights. My urge to do the 02-05 fixed headlight look but also something unique led to this.

Here's what I started with last week...

And the work done as of today...

More pics to come when its finished...

Interior/suspension coming in January. Can't wait to lower her finally. I'm in the market for coilovers, so hit me up if you have any for sale.

Personally, I think the headlights look kinda weird extended so far up through the bumper.

Looks pretty good I think. Nice to see modding of an NSX. Enjoy your car!

you know the car is so highly modified, it doesn't look horrible, but if that thing was stock, the driver would have to be shot.

its tolerable as of now, but no more extreme custom should be done to it!

like previously said, it would be foolish to do this to a stock NSX. however, if the owner has the intent on retrofitting headlights, the celica lights are a pretty good fit. plus they have a nice design.

props on the foresight. 99% of other headlights would look very out of place and would not match the curvature of the hood.

but do i think it looks good? no.

like many others, i favor the stock flip-ups opposed to the 2002s. the beauty of the car is the midengine design. hence, drawing attention AWAY from the nonfunctional front-end is key. obviously the owner of the car doesnt have as much design skill as the makers of a timeless car.

could have been a LOT worse.
not bad as he is going for a pretty extreme look.
now he just needs the show car paintjob and he's set.

back a little would fix. And those front fenders that taper into a point are a little forced.

It never went through my mind that someone that owns a NSX would do that kind of work to it. I think that this custom work may affect the resale value of this particular car.

I actually feel bad for the guy, small miscalculation...

It probably looks alot better in person, and with his skill, he could and should be able to fix it.

I'm surprised more people don't like it. Yea they would look better not so close to the front of the car but I am guessing they had to put them so far forward due to the angles of the hood and such. To me it sheds years off the look of the car and makes it more up to date looking

+1 i'm sure if we didn't know they were from a celica it'd give that nsx a better impression. say, a mucialgo's(sp?) headlights. almost the same shape.
