Bob seems more of a purist considering how clean his s2k is.. I on the other hand would mod the shit out of it.

Congrats Bob - you keeping that in the garage all Winter then? I would be afraid to put it in storage after just buying it! Plus you want to go out and stand around and just look at it on occasion.
Speaking of your garage - it looks like you could stand to do a little organizing there

$25K..
Usually dealerships start high and settle a bit. Someone will definitely bite at some point. Too clean not to.
Want to sell it?
I had a neighbor many years ago who had a 92 NSX. He let it sit outside all day, rotors rusted over, clear coat peeling, dash and seats drying out. I felt really bad for it. I almost wanted to offer him some coin so I could treat her right. Always regret not doing so.. Poor NSX.

Thats because his lambos and RDX Elite were inside the garage. Something had to give.

I wish them luck. I paid about $1k for driving it for seven years, so I don't feel bad.

When I traded the TL, the dealership listed it 2.5x my trade. Eventually made it to another dealership, who made $1500 on it after 30 days. It'll come down, still fun to see the first listing.

My S2000 only had wheels and exhaust, better speakers, and a Bluetooth head unit. Other than that, it was as its makers intended.
In fact, I am shipping the dealer the stock wheels and exhaust so the car will be stock at the time of sale, and they'll be shipping my SSR GT1s back.
PS: $25k is almost $10k more than I bought the car for.

I got goosebumps reading this, what an amazing experience and feeling it must have been. I love reading people's purchase stories, maybe because I'm living vicariously through them haha.
The NSX looked the best when it had the pop-ups, and with those wheels and that color....perfect! Congratulations, and glad it won't end up a garage queen.

That's about what they were going for then, and I bought BEFORE the recession . It was 11.9k miles when I bought it. The S2000 has gone through a tremendous appreciation in value the last year, a lot like the NSX, though not to the same extent.

Oh yes. It happened.
I still can't believe I actually did it.
PS--If work allows, I may be going to the Pittsburgh area this Sunday for the Acura NSX tour, in the NSX. That's another 300 mile trip in one day....2 hours/150 miles there and back, and also working beforehand....another long day. It'll be worth it, though, as it'll be cool to see the new one in person. Even so, I like my new-to-me slice of old-school.

Next few dates are:
Chevy Chase Acura in MD on Friday at 6pm--that's reasonably close to you, diddy.
Limerick Acura, Limerick, PA (Philly area), Saturday, time TBA
Smail Acura, Greensburg, PA (Pittsburgh area), Sunday, time TBA--that's the one I hope I can attend.
It looks like they are working their way west, I hope that they will be at one of the four Acura dealers in the NE Ohio area, so I don't have to drive as far.

The most urgent need is an audio upgrade. I'm upgrading the radio with the Willman electronics stock-looking system. That way, I use the stock Bose amps and gain BT for handsfree/music streaming, and the potential for XM radio, though I can always just use the XM app on my iPhone and stream it.
Acura NSXÂ - Items For Sale
I could add a more modern head unit, but that'd require cutting into the stock center console, or sourcing a replacement from SOS. Not interested.
Maybe I'll get wheels eventually. I'm really happy with the look right now, honestly.
That's really about it. The engine sound is so wonderful I don't think there's a need for exhaust, and I like the power output as is, so no NA mods or supercharger. When I feel like I need more power, there's always the V wagon.
