What rims do you rock and what are their specifications?
So basically, i just want to know what rims does everyone have and what size, offset, width and etc...i'm serious about picking up a set of racing hart c2s, from LA, and i just wanna be sure people have had them and it works.
http://losangeles.craigslist.org/lgb...080012470.html
thats the set i'ma pick up. just waiting on them to respond back! got my government money coming in soon and i really want to pick these up...the ones in the bay that i found, 17s, were sold, so i'm gonna pick these up...
also, if you had any bad camber with bigger sized rims, or any problems with fitment...please specify! i'd like to know!
Bolt Pattern: 4x100, 4x114.3
Size: 18x7.5 +37 offset
225/40/18 Kumho Ecsta tires 70% tread
thats the specifications of the racing harts i'm going to grab within the next week...i did a semi-search...but i don't know if i searched hard enough!

nice pickup, they look like they need a refinishing though from the closeup pictures.
just look at fliplyricist's wheel specs "front=18x8 +27 rear=18x9 +36" plus he added spacers after that, so if you can't fit 7.5" wide and +37 on your car then i dunno...
and i've heard some ppl needed to run spacers for the high 30's offsets, but you don't know untill you try them with your set up.
come to think of it i think those people were running atleast 8" wide wheels, so you got another atleast 10mm of clearance compared to a 8" wide @ high 30's offset
i'm in the process of either trying to decide/buy a set in 18x8 +25 all around
goodluck

i was thinkin about powdercoating them bronze. there's a lot of scratches on those rims, but it'll be cool once it's all done. DO you guys think i'll be needing a camber kit or anything? i'm rolling around fine without it for the time being...and i'm dropped a bit. not a massive drop, but enough to get that wheel gap to go away. with 18s, i have a feeling i might. also thinking about extended studs...i've seen a couple online for cheap. and my mechanic would hook it up, so labor costs wouldn't be that bad.

yeah, i already contacted the dude, and the deal is set. getting ready to pick them up next weekend. then i'm gonna find a good wheel shop to powdercoat them badboys. so yeah, with +37 offset do you guys think it'd be best run spacers? or naw?

but for the other people on here considering wider wheels than that, especially with not insanely stretched tires, i don't know if that would be true.
I know with aqua's vielsides he said he would probably need spacers and his wheels were high 30's low 40's offsets, with a 8" and a 9" width

^ for a 7.5" wide tire that's probably right,

have you been riding dropped for long? what did your alignment printout look like? i have neuspeed sports with kyb agx's, and i had to get a camber kit. (1.75"F/1.5"R) i ate through tires without it for 3 years before i decided enough was enough.
to answer your question, 225/40/18 with a drop is fine. i never have any rubbing issues. my rims are also 18x7.5", i forget the offset though. only difference is the steering wheel feel and braking. have to brake harder with rims, not as much stopping power and the steering wheel is easier to turn with rims. when i had stock suspension with my rims i rubbed when i hit any dips, but once i put in the suspension never again. not through potholes, hitting speed humps at 40mph (they put one on my street one morning without any notice, left them black so i didn't see it till it was too late... didn't rub though haha), cornering, etc..
