Tire Size...

i was wondering if you guys could ask this question, im thinking about buying a set of tires. i know the biggest we could go on our cl is 225/50/16...but i was thinking was if its possible and can put 225/40/16 on our cl?

it would look retarted. ive had both 225/55/16's and 225/50/16's, and a 40 series side wall would be wayy to small

yea im lowered...im dropped 2inch....and im riding on 16' too...

any suggestion on what size of tire..that would still give it a aggressive look to it...

The biggest tire you can do is 225/55/16, but you could try a 225 or 215/45/16 if you're looking to go smaller

Smile 99CL 3.0 Conti Tires

Just put on new Conti DSW 205 55 16's to replace Michlien's.. Two Oem lasted 72K 2 replacements 35 ,go figure . Conti from TIRE TRACK amazing wet traction and stopping on wet pavements. Also 80% of tire noise disappeared . Smooth ride so far 85 MPH. 40lbs pressure . tried 45 still good 51 max lbs is marked on tire . Also first was Dunlap SP Sport : however was backed oredered everywhere'
