Is there any way to buy new rear lower shock bushings and replace them or do i have to get a new rear knuckle? i tried to find some on google but cant....

ps. my car us undrivable because the rear struts are off and nothing to hold up the car....

hey 972xghost, when you replaced your rear strut bushings, did you do it your self? or have your shop do it? i wanna attempt it myself because i heard all you need is a bench vise and a torch.

im dropped on kyb agx (2 in the front and 4 in the back, but have yet to try it out) and neuspeed sport springs combo.

If you broke the bushing that the bottom of the strut attaches to, then bushing actually cant be bought...it comes machined into the knuckle. My bolts that hold the rear springs in at the bottom rusted onto that bushing, and I've been trying to find a way to get that out for about 4 months...Finally it came down to buying new knckles for both the right and left sides of my car...they costed about 250 dollars each...now i gotta get the installed too, because i dont knwo how to take off the hub of the brake...

but there is a part number for that bushing. its number 33 on the diagram. why would they have a part number for that bushing?

rawbeanz, did u try to call the honda dealership and ask for that part? i have to wait until tomorrow to call...i hope i dont have to buy a whole knuckle for that one little thing....i think its about 30 bux a bushing....

i understand that you cant buy balljoints for the upper control arm ( which seems really dumb to me) but u can camber adjusting upper ball joints....so im pretty sure you can find a replacement bushing without buy a new knuckles..

I went to the acura dealership twice...and the honda dealership twice...if its the bushing that I think it is...which is the one that the strut connects to the knuckle at the bottom of your rear suspension, then its machined into the knuckle and you cant buy that bushing alone. I think that number 33, is another bushing its one of the ones that connects one of the control arms that connect to your knuckle.
