refinish/rethread rims

so i just got a set of racing hart rims for free. yes they are a bit beat up, but hey, free rims right? only thing wrong with them is that the threads for the center caps are stripped. does anybody know how to, or a shop that can re-thread them? and also refinish them, they got a bit of curb rash.

it depends on where you are.

Machine shops should be able to re-thread the center caps for you.

They can also work the metal for you. A good smooth finish followed by a solid powdercoating would do wonders for beat up rims.
