need some advice ladies and gentlemen

ok well i want to buy some new rims for my CL and i want 17's my car is back to stock height and i was wondering if it would funny( higher than normal) with 17 inch rims.


I KNOW I KNOW it looks like a 4x4 either way but will it look even worse??

Why does everyone say it will look worse. Jesus Christ, all you're doing is taking away from the sidewall of the tire and you're still going to have the overall wheel diameter of the stock wheel. It stays the same. Doesnt get any smaller or bigger. Damn.

my cousins's rsx and his bro's celica went up a little bit after they put 17's on their car. they even said it did.

Totally depends on the size of tire. My 18s are almost the exact same size as the old 16s.

i get what you guys are saying. bigger rim lower profile tire.... sooo, what size tire should i get to have the same outer diamiter as my current tires but for a 17" rim???

Probably a 45, or maybe even a 50, but that will be too much tire. my
