I got a nail in my tire (Question about Tire Kingdom)

I got a nail in my tire which I need to plug tomorrow, its the back left tire in the inner tread. I bought my tires from tire kingdom and I saw on the website it says free tire guarentee when you buy tires, my dad told me they once plugged his car for free. Do they plug a tire for free if you buy from them?

DO NOT REPAIR A TIRE WITH A PLUG ONLY!!! To repair it properly it must be removed from the rim and inspected for internal damage. If found to be repairable, it then is repaired by applying a patch to the inside of the tire.

Well my dad seems to think its fine. Its in the inner tread of the tire not sidewall so a plug should do the job just fine

I get up to pretty high speeds and with a patch or plug i wouldnt feel as comfortbale. I heard they make this patch-plug that some of those places carry that maintains a Z rating speed. Anyone heard of this.

Whats better PATCH or PLUG?

PATCH AND PLUG is the best.. i worked in a tire center for 2 years...

and you are not supposed to patch a Z rated tire at all ever because of the compound the tire is made out of.

A tire rated for 186mph on CL-S?
Go ahead and use a plug only, you will be fine.

Dan the wheel was taken off and inspected and then patched and balanced and put back on. The toyo T1-S is a Y tire, I like the tire not the speed rating, I need best handling I can get out of the car with my mods a touring tire makes no sense

Lol no problem, im just glad it was patched and i dont have to dish out $125, unexpected expenses for an 18 year old sucks, so the patching was worth it as long as I dont die on my high speed adventures
