Good advice on changing shocks

Hey I just bought a acura cl s and the front suspension is really bad. I have to drive extremly slow over rough areas. i just bought two front end Tokico Coil Over Shock Absorbers, to replace the ones infront. Should i change the ones in the rear as well? Would this affect the way the car handles, and is there any other advice you guys can give to make my ride comfortable. My car has been lowered as well.
