the offset wouldnt matter in my case since im going wide flares.
and chris, i didnt get the wheels yet lol... just asking around.
as for the 4x4 comment, yea i was thinking the same, but think about this:
1. im going with side skirts/f+r lip kit, that should make the car abit lower, should.
2. since im having custom flares, im assuming it wont make it look high. but im not riding slammed any more so thats that.
i dont wanna go 20" but at the same time, if it can be pulled off, it will be nice.

I think your plan will make it work. I would say absolutely not on a regular CL, but with the lip kit and flares, I think it will fit with the car.
What profile tire are you thinking about?
I have always wished I could keep the car a bit higher and just make the body look lower, but that would necessitate reworked wheel wells and a lip kit.
You are doing that, and I am jealous. I really want to see how this turns out.

profile, i dont know. im debating on what to do, since i am in pothole heaven (ny) i just dont see it being practical doing it, but in my vision it would look so sweet.
also, the intercooler i have will require me to make some extreme modifications to my front end if i do the whole lip idea. lets take it slowly and see... im on the fence of buying the ww lip as i type...

id be interested to see how it looks. ive been wanting to dip into the 10" wide, becasue no one has yet to attempt. 20's might be too big, but im not one to hate on them just becasue they're big. any reference on the look of wheel i can go off of?

oh crap dude....I'm going to follow you on this
btw, 10's and 9's rear/front works on stock body without flares, I've already done it Just takes a shitload of camber stretch and rolling....but I'm interested to see what you're going to pull off with flares. Are you planning on running 0 camber? If not you could probably get away with 11's or even 11.5's easily with camber and stretch if you really want to go all-out. Or 10's with a single digit offset, which would be hot as hell. 20's can work if you're going with a low hanging kit similar to Vertex or Origin kits on the s14's...might I suggest the VIS mugen replica sideskirts for the 5th gen accords...they are smooth vip style with no creases like the ww skirts and hang LOW.
My personal opinion is 19's would be the perfect medium, especially if you're on air....but nothing wrong with being a pioneer...that's what keeps the game elevating
As for the rest, I'm interested to see man, keep us posted!

problem with the side skirts hanging low is, is that i would have to "extend" the front bumper to match the sides... the back may be able to get away with it...

after looking and really thinking about it, i think you might be better with 19's. or maybe even 18's. I think 20's might just be a little too big. But with the pics you've supplied, i might suggest maybe even staggering sizes. with the flares and all, it might look real good with a 19 or a 20 in the rear, and a 18 or 19 up front. i know its not practical, but it would be hot.
have you thought about getting wheels, and then having the flares molded around them? or would you do the flares, then get wheels, and space until your satisfied?

hmmm.. really feeling the stance on the tsx
game plan:
(i thought i typed this on the other thread, going with 19 inchers)
get remainder of 5 lug conversion with new pads/rotors
wheels: rear: 19x10 (3-4inch lip); front: 19x8.5(or 9) (1.5-2inch lip)
then get flares built around the wheels
If i do go with the ww lips, im going to drop the front bumper lower.
(cut and extend bumper downwards. and i have a huge feeling its gonna look stupid, so i might go with my original plan with the s15 bumper, yay for me )

just to let you know bruh, if you're planning on running flares, 10's and 9's are not going to be anywhere near flush or aggressive
10's and 9's will get you 'near tsx' status like the one above on a stock body with only rolled fenders and stretch...I know because I've done it. That is, unless you plan on running 0 or negative offsets with those. Remember, flares should buy you at least another 1.5 to 2+ inches of fender clearance, which easily puts you in s14 class fitting
IMO if you're going for an insane super aggressive look, you'd be much better off with say 10's up front and 11's or even 11.5's out back with a stretch. That might sound crazy, but trust me on this. But I'm sure a shop could easily figure out the optimal width and offset and backspacing calculations once you pick the flares you want.

im not buying flares, their getting made around the wheel.
im open for suggestions of course. also, im staying with the 9 and 10 in width since i want to have fun with the motor setup...

yeah i agree with flip, your gonna wanna look into some super low offsets. well not super low, but super low when it comes to fitment on a CL. im planning on going 9.5 in the rear and trying to push offset around 15. from what ive learned it can be done with a fender roll, so your going to wanna look for offsets near the 0.
im excited for this to happen, ive been waiting for people to push the wheel limits so we can all get a better sense of whats capable for our CL's
