Wreck=New Car
Got rear-ended on Valentines Day on the way to school. Sun was blinding bc of dirt on windshield, stopped to turn into driveway to clean it off, waved the kid that was behind me around, he didnt see me bc the sun was in his eyes too, he swerved at the last second and slammed his left corner into my right rear fender. Bumber hagin down, exhaust hangin down, light broken, and the topper- bent the frame in. the car is considered totaled bc its $3600 worth of damage and the car is only worth $4800 according to the book- depressing. So we get to buy a car for up to $4800 and keep my rims, tires, dvd player, and speakers...... car did have over 160,000 miles but i did love it. not the quickest car but still fun to drive and looked pretty nice. So im just kind of looking for some advice as to what other cars would be recommended that would fit in that price range.
Here are some pics as to what it lookd like before.....

thats a sharp car, gotta clean those headlights tho, theres a post in the diy section on how to clean them, some kind of wax or spray, everyone is gonna tell you to drop it. i think it would look real nice dropped especially with those rims. but nice car. oh yea and good luck with the wreck

Update: Well we calld the insurance company's bluff and they are goin to end up paying for the repair. My appologies for getting everybody's hopes up about the lip.
I also kinda got my hopes up cause there was a 98 prelude in the paper for $5 grand. Turns out that was sold anyway. But at least i get a new exhaust that i've been needing.
