You buy cheap Autozone crap, you get a crappy look most of the time. Pros use professional tint, not cheap 30 bucks a roll tint, and it shows in the final product. If you've never done it before and you don't have plenty of time, patience, and quality tint, you'll have a crap-tacular looking vehicle.
Look around in your area, a lot of times they'll do it around 125 to 150. I got mine done on my truck for 125, and it still looks new, even though it's been 4 years now.

my uncle 05 tl... back and the rear door black out.. passenger and driver side door is lighter and the windshield where the blue part is.. he has it pass the limit mark and everything cost him 420 dollar.
Don't Buy That Crap From Autozone!!
Hey,
I'm a professional window tinter, so I'll give you some advice. DO NOT buy that crappy window tint from Autozone...it's among the WORST tint you can buy. No matter what, a professional tint job will always look better because the pros know what they're doing and have a lot more experience. Not only will the pro job look 100 times better than the Autozone tint, but it will last 100 times longer too. Spare yourself the headache and don't waste your time messing with that stuff; just let the pros do it. Trust me, you won't regret it in the end. And when you’re looking around for tint shops, make sure they use the LLumar window tint (it's the best tint available). Also, all the quality shops will include a lifetime warranty with the tint job, which would normally cover any kind of fading, discoloration, bubbling, and peeling. Oh and if you happen to live in or near the Bay Area (CA), PM me and I'll hook you up. This also applies to all Acurazine members!
Oh, check out my shop's website at www.totaleclipse.biz and take a look at the picture gallery of the kinds of cars we normally work on.

These prices you guys are mentioning seem really high. I work at a car electronics shop and we have to two tinters that work for us and we only charge $145 to do a car. Thats with a guarantee for as long as you own the car.
does this scratch warranty cover scratches that just occur, not just scratches that they did?
because my girlfriend scratched passenger door tint pretty bad, and there are a few small scratches on the drivers side (no idea where they came from)
the place i got it done was full of assholes and they did a shitty job.. im thinking about just taking my car somewhere else
do you know how much it costs to have tint removed?

That autozone crap is the same brand they sell at walmart, nuff said. That's the purple faded crap you see on peoples windows that is all bubbly and faded. If you REALLY want to do it yourself, get a precut kit off ebay, they have a full CL window kit, and they use better quality tint, I bought a front window kit for my 4runner and it's good quality stuff, otherwise, have a shop do it, especially on a CL, the back windows are a BITCH
