Warped Brakes???

I have taken my 98 3.0 to midas five times now and each time my brakes are fine for about 3000 miles then they warp. The steering wheel vibrates rapidly when I hit the brakes at highway speed and now the pedal is starting to pulsate. I'm to the point where I just want to replace the darn rotors my self because I think midas is using CHEAP rotors and thats why they are warping quickly. So, if I change my rotors do i have to change my pads too or can I leave the pads alone??? the pads are new. Also can anyone direct me to some information on how to change my rotors, front and rear???

Pretty sure there is a DIY on the rotors in that section. Its really not hard though.
Are you positive that Midas is actually changing your rotors and not just "turning" them?

If they are putting on new rotors and they are warping in 3k, I dont think its the rotors.

They turned them twice then put new ones on again. Now the new ones are warped. The calipers have been tested and are working properly so I don't know what else it could be. I guess just really cheap parts. If my rear rotors are no good could that put too much stress on the front ones and make them warp?

robicus83; warped roters are caused by heavy braking and or not braking properly. i have had midas put a new set of discs on my front end and they too are warped. i also have vibration in my stearingwheel when i brake. cheap roters will warp easily, if you change your roters you should change your pads at the same time. when it comes time to change your pads on your new set of rotes you do not need to chang your pads unless the pads are warn or the new roters are warped. oh and no matter what anyone says you do not need to turn your roters every time you chang your pads. i hope this helps you out. oneyussman
