Trouble adjusting headlight

hello all,
I have been tryn to adjust my headlights.I purchased 2 new oem lights and when i turn the adjusting gear nuthn happens.Please help.

check if the gears on the headlights are moving...should be the grey gear...theres two on each side.....can i have your old ones? hehe. lemme know.
