transmission... help! 2.2 97 cl

Ok, I have a problem... my transmission is lagging when kicking into gear at turns or starting from red lights and stops. What is happening is the rpm shoot way up but the car gets no power and then kicks in after a few seconds. A rebuilt trans was put in about a year and a half ago when my brother owned the car but the same problem is happening. Any suggestions, I thought maybe a new tork would help but im starting to think maybe an all new trans. Acura people, I need your help.

Ill be watching this thread...same here with my 3.0

When i start from a red light or turn a corner it rides up to 3000 RPM and then shifts...my D4 flashes sometimes, but im not always watching my D4 anyways. I have 212,XXX KM on original motor/tranny.
