Alrigth well im not the most handy with this forum just because im not on here much(noob) or whatever the saying is. Lets just get to the point.

My 98 CL 3.0 has 208,XXXKM now. Timing belt,water pump has been done. I find when drivin regular(granny) 1st gear is held until 3,000 RPM. And when Im driving along D4 flashes sometimes when driving along any road. First thing i did, i checked my tranny fluid. Great! Noticed when i get off the gas the rpms go to 800 and then back to 2,000 RPM rapidly in a 60km/h zone. Any ideas on what this might be? Maybe a sensor or something?

Another little fine thing i noticed is that I have alittle ticking from the top of my motor(VALVES?) They are ticking when hot or cold. I can hold a rpm and they are ticking. Any ideas?

im also new here with not that much help, but i read the whole manual and it said that if the d4 flashes its a tranny problem. have it checked out. is it slipping, does it slip when driving after start up and it cold?
