Thumbs down Tail light condensation

i have some condensation on the inside of my tail light lens...i want to remove the lens and reseal it. however i am reluctant to just strat prying it off as the plastic clips that hold the lens to the housing look fragile. i searched and found the process for the headlight lens removal, curious if this will work for the tail light in the same way? any input would be appreciated...thanks!

well for first i think ur tail lights have condensation is because there is probably a gap between the back bumper and the lights itself...as far as prying is concerned its alot of work...taking out the lights and heating it and so on so fourth...if i was u i would just get new set from ebay...or jus smoke ur lights...im a big fan of smoked lights...

a gap btw the back bumper and the tail light?...i dont follow...how would that let moisture into a sealed tail light? im under the impression the only reason condensation appears inside the lens of a tail light is because there is a break in the seal that is supposto keep it out or the light housing isnt seating well in the back to make a seal which it is....maybe im mistaken here?

You can remove them carefully, but if you plan taking them out, expect to snap a couple of clips, so having a couple on hand might help. Taking it out is the only real way you can find the crack in your light. If you leave it in, it's hard to inspect and find where moisture is building up from.

so i took it out and couldnt find any visible cracks...so im thinking its a break in the seal...i tried baking it and pulling it off gently but it just wasnt happening...way to brittle...so i picked up a new one for $30....ebay FTW haha
