The power steering rack on my 99 cl is leaking at the seal and needs to be replaced. I have the Helms service manual and one of the steps is to remove the steering wheel, the wheel not the column. I cannot see any reason to remove the steering wheel, is this a mis-print or does it really need to be removed and why.
