I have the 99 2.3 cl auto and recently the steering wheel gotten tight that it feels like the front tires are almost flat. The tire pressure is in the manufacture recommended psi and i check the power steering fluid and it's the level it should be...i dunno what what else I should inspect. The cars has almost 91k miles so i'm wondering if it's a known problem for this car? and is it a problem that need to be repaired asap?

 

Do you have high steering effort at low engine speed, but feels normal at highway speed? Little more effort on description needed.
