my car dont start up with the key, but it starts up perfectly with the remote start...

 

Ignition? I don't really know, but you gotta figure it's whatever is right before the starter from where you turn the key.

 

talk to whoever installed your alarm

 

Sounds like your ignition chamber isn't getting juice or the alarm bypass isn't passing back to the igntion tumbler

I noticed that too.

 

said it before but have u tryed the transponder in the key dey mite go bad after certain amount of years and the alarm start norm has a diff key already in it to bypass that fetaure in our cars so u mite try switching the 2 keys and see if dat works?

 

well... its working perfect now.. but imma get it checked out..

lol yea I noticed all the starting related threads too

and I have a 97... there's no key with chip...

 

Some reason I thought I read the 97s have a recall, or something with the ignition.

97's have the egr warranty, but ignition recall doesnt apply to 97's.....i already talked to acura about it.
