I turn the key and the engine clicks. All the lights come on, but it won't turn over. Is this a starter issue or a battery issue? Thank you guys.

 

I had the same problem with my GMC and it was a loose battery cable. Could be different for you but you might wanna check it anyway.

 

I have determined that the 8 year old battery is the problem. I will pick up a new one and let you know.

 

Dude, the samething happened to me with my cl....i thought it was the battery, but it really was the alternator. It will work when you put in the new battery, but eventually(very soon) you will drain that battery....have the alternator checked.

 

i have a 99cl 78k. it turned out to be the battery terminals

I got a new Delco battery and it starts like new. And only $92 CDN!!

 

Having similar problem with 98 CL. Acura dealrship checked battery, alternator & starter but have not found problem. This does not happen all the time. When it does, all dash lights come on, clicking noise like ahorting & then after several tries it will start. I have cleaned the battery cables. Wonder if somethin is loose, shorting, ???

 

i had the same problem on my bmw but it didn't even click once. so it was the key starter. my ignition was broken so i had it replaced :X but ur car is still new i think so u shouldn't have that problem
