Squeaky front end

2 nights ago I heard a new squeaky sound form the divers side front end. When I got home, I was able to recreate the sound by pushing down on the front end.

The strut seems fine as it quickly returns home after being compressed with no noticeable oss cilation.

Anyone have any ideas? It is only the LH front that makes this sound.

Thanks

ball joint.
you can get under her and squirt some grease into the boot with a syringe - that will give you about a month or two, but ultimately you'll have to get it replaced.

I had the same problem a new squeak coming from the front left side. I was further annoyed by a clunk from the same area when accelerating from a stop. I took my 98 3.0 CL into my mechanic and he replaced the control arm and ball joint. This completely fixed it and it drives like new.

The horizontal stablizer bar or anti-sway bar is a frequent source of squeaks. The bar rotates on big rubber bushings. They are easy to access and lube.

good luck

i had the same problem and i know how irritating it can be, i was going crazy not knowing what the noise was haha but it's most likely going to be your rubber bushings wearing out
