I have an odd problem with my door lock system.When I unlock my doors with the keyless remote it also pops open my trunk.I have to close my doors to push down the trunk lid or the trunk lid keeps popping open.Is there any way I can check the control module for the trunk?

 

I suggest opening and cleaning the remote (alcohol and cotton swab) to be sure that both microswitches are not being closed accidentally or shorted somehow.

Next, I would reset the system by disconnecting the negative battery post for 30 secs. You will need your radio code to restart radio after this. I looked at an older security system and it's not clear how a "reset" is achieved, but this may help.
