Security alarm needs HELP!

For the last 10 mounths, the alarm does not arm at all. I got it checked by the dealer and all sensors seem to be fine.
The alarm light does not flash after I locked the car, neither does the chirping work even after trying the lock and trunk trick. If I hold the Panic, the alarm goes off normally.
I really want my chirping to work and mainly my alarm so at least if someone is trying to steal it then there is some security.
Maybe it could be the shock sensor? but where is it? or maybe the hood latch sensor? but do I fix it?
Please!! does anybody have any help they can give me?

97 or 98-99?

Plus, search for the alarm chirping, it's been covered before.

It sounds like your alarm is working fine, but do the lights flash on and off when unlocking? If the sensors are fine, it could be your bulb inside the indicator unit went out. There's an easy way to test it. Loosen ( you don't really have to remove ) your door panel. Unplug the indicating unit and gently pry it out. Hook up battery power to the No.2 pin on the connector and ground the No.1 pin ( To figure out which is which, hold the connector so the small tab or locking part is at the top. Left is No.1, right is No.2 ). If you do not get a indicating light, it's a bad unit, replace it.

Try that first before chasing down sensors and screwing with the control unit.

Try getting it to beep first, see if that works.

If not, try taking out the indicator (sits on top of your drivers side door) and test it. Also sounds like a possible relay is blown. Try making it beep, then get back to us.

There's a lot of fuses, and the only way to really troubleshoot is to take out the passenger's front seat and do a input test with a multimeter.

Have you checked all your fuses under the dash and under the hood?

I can shoot you an email with instructions, but it's gonna be a few hours worth of work at best.

You have to take out your passenger seat and test pins on the connectors for the control unit.

Again, have you checked all the fuses for the car?

ok, thanks for the help soo far.
Now I checked all the fuses and all of them are fine.
So just for fun I checked the control unit and unpluged both connections, and of course I couldnt use my remote. now I plugged in only one, the smaller one to the left (or the one closer to the rear/trunk of the car) and the chirp works. But with the front connector not pluged in what will this do? I should run a test with the pins, cuz that might be what's causing the problem.

The unpluged connection contain the hood switch and I confident that it could be your problem , the reason why you don't see your led and heard the beep is that your security system don't come on because he think that a door , trunk or hood still open and wait that you close it before starting. Actually your system work because your system is blind ( a part of the actuator used by the security system) is not plugged in your case all the input for lock and unlock and your hood latch. So you should replug your security system and unpluged the switch located under the hood latch (the only wire that go to the latch ) . If you still have problem pm me I had many problem solve in my car with that security system and i may help you

well, give what he said a shot, disconnect your hood sensor. If you want to do the input test, let me know.
