RPM limited to 4500

I am new to this forum and just got my 2.3 CL 5-speed fixed, painted, registered and insured. just want to know if 2.3 got RPM limited to 4500 because mine is limited and how limiter can be removed. Thanks

sounds like your car is in limp mode, have any check engine lights?

Sounds like a v-tec problem, because it kicks in at 4500 rpm...

oh yeah, your oil pressure is probably low then

if vtec was a problem it would have gave you a check engine light, is there enough oil in your engine? because vtec wont engage if you dont have enough oil pressure.
