recharge AC

car: 1999 cl 3.0 (california emissions)

Where is the Air conditioner low pressure port for recharging the system?

on the 2.2 i believe its the blue capped port right next to the battery

I looked for a blue cap but could not find one. I did see a hose marked 15 LP going to what I think is the low pressure port but I am not sure. Maybe if I post a pic someone could fill me in. It is maddeningly difficult to find info on this anywhere else. I really depend on this site!

I think this might be it. Could someone else verify that?



I would also like to know what the recommended charge is. I found this label. Is this telling me how much to add?

That looks like it as far as the port goes. Buy the kit with the guage and follow the instructions. Pretty self explanetory. I did it on my 3.0 and it worked well.
