random rev drops and climbs (revving basically)

so it starting to happen more often, im just driving around and when I stop at like a light, or most recently as I pull into my driveway with the engine running to grab something from the house........ its revs up about 500, drops off and goes up again, same shit, up and down, up and down, until I manually kick the gas twice to around 2 grand, it stopped, its stqrting to do this more often, before this week it only did it once since ive had it, and in this past week its gone through this 3 times

there 2 that pop to the top of my head, thats the PCV on the back of it and the throttle cable that kinda wraps around the top........ I guess I can give the throttle cable a few jiggles and see what happens

and as for the TPS, im assuming the only "fix" for that is replacement of the TPS all together
