Pulling trans

I've been sitting on my 99CL3.0 for a while now, finally found the right deal on a tranny. Came from a wrecked 98, Jasper reman'd in December of 2012, for $350. Now I'm down to swapping things out. I've been doing my own machanical work for 25+ years, but never gotten into one of these. The question I've got, it doesn't look like there's much clearance between the trans and the driver's side frame. Will it dome out separate from the motor? Do I need to drop a front subframe? Forgive the potentially simple questions, just not looking to do more than I need, and not wanting to screw something up.
Thanks..

Got it. Yes, had to loosen the passenger side subframe, then drop the driver's side a bit further, but the new one's in place. We'll see how she does tomorrow when I get it the rest of the way back together.

Just wondered how things went. Did it all work out for you?
