Power drivers window not working

My 98 3.0L cl drivers side by itself went down halfway. After leaving the car for a minute or two came back seeing that entire drivers window was down. Now pressing the drivers power window button nothing working. Is it the regulator or motor any advice?

yeaaa. definitely sounds like your window regulator. When mine went, i shut my door and the entire window fell into the door. Theres a good diy write up on this site and you can use the 94-97 accord coupe window regs too. https://acurazine.com/forums/1g-cl-diy-faq-74/window-regulator-replacement-diy-762884/ When i replaced mine it took around ~3 hrs and I was taking my time. good luck

Thanks BrunCL for the info. Looks like easy enough job but worried taking off the door trim. For me it may take 3 hours to remove the door panel and I probably will break or damage something with my luck these days. It's warm outside so weather isn't a factor but maybe I'll get my Honda mechanic and aftermarket parts probably going to cost $230 with labor. Better then killing myself with frustration, knowing with my luck these days I'll break the drivers window.

i really don't do a lot of mechanical work myself besides oil changes and stuff
but the window DIY is super easy, takes longer if you want to be really careful, but there isn't much to break either
and doing it yourself will save you a lot of money, and make you feel good that you did it yourself
your choice, but for me i'd recommend doing it yourself always, no point in throwing your money to the dealership when we have an amazing DIY guide, and almost every member on here has done it themselves at least once, so if you run into trouble, we should be able to help you out

Hard to find part all U.S stores won't ship up here. Dealer wants $250 for part only. eBay sellers will not ship internationally found only one that ships up here for $95. Don't know how long I have to wait until it arrives. In the mean time it's sunny and warm so no worries in getting wet inside my CL.

Have you tried a local parts store so you dont have to pay for shipping? I ordered mine from autozone for $100 cause mine broke during winter and the cl is my dd, thus no time to wait for shipping

see if there is a member on here that might ship it to you, or anyone else you might know that lives in the states, that's how i did mine, if i remember correctly it cost me about 80-100 bucks all in... (thanks to Matt )
i took off the door panel, cut a piece of a hockey stick and pried it up between the bottom of the door inside and the bottom of the window, worked perfectly, i had it in there for a month or two holding up the window cuz it was the middle of the winter.
now if that doesn't prove i live in i don't know what does
