Exclamation Possible Wheel Problem?

When I make a sharp right turn, i hear a grinding/whisling noise. I havent done an alignment in more than a year and have recently brushed a curb accidentaly(with passenger side wheel). I hear it from the drivers side but its audible to passengers also? Is this bad alignment or is my wheel bound to fall off any minute?

It could be a wheel bearing or possibly a CV joint. I would suggest having a good shop inspect the front end carefully.

good luck

I've got a busted CV boot and am taking the car in tomorrow.
I'll let you know if it turns out to be a bad joint too, and what it cost me.

Well I'm going to pick the car up soon, and to replace just the boot is 180 and the whole side would be 225.
I think the boot was only busted for like 2-3 days, and I only drove it one of those days because I knew it was busted.
So hopefully it will be fine and I won't regret not getting the whole thing replaced.
He said my other one is looking cracked and will probably bust some time in the near future, but that will have to wait because I'm not spending $200 on something that isn't causing any problems yet

I went to the shop yesterday and it turned out to be a brake problem...my brake pad is cracked and is pressing down unevenly causing a light grinding noise...gonna get my pads replaced this weekend.
