Hey guys, I'm having some problems with my passengers seat. It won't lock into place on the sliders. The handle in the front left (used to slide it forward and back) won't go down. It's locked into the "up" position. Also, the seat is stuck backwards further towards the back of the car than it should be. The seat won't move unless someone is sitting in it, and I've had multiple people complain about it.

I've thought to take the seat out, but I can't seem to find the rear mounting bolts. Anyone know where they are? I can see where I think they should be, but I can't find them exactly.

If anyone has any ideas about how to fix this, or anything, please let me know.

 

Rear bolts are under the trim pieces covering the rear of the track. They should release w/ modest force. Rust or missing wire guide may be the problem.

Probably change or something jammed in it. Happened in my accord... just take out the seat and check all the tracks. Also the release to move it forward and back is under the seat as well and if there are any objects under the seat it will cause it not to lock in.
