Orange engine light... I'm noob haha

So, i know this is noob to all you guys, and im ok with that, but what are possible things that would make the orange engine light turn on?

Most likey what he said. O2 sensor, or EGR valve probably.

yep, had it checked today, it was the EGR valve... another noob question haha, wehre is it and is there a DIY on how to do it?

97's have a egr emissions warranty for 14yrs/150,000miles

you gotta call your acura dealership to see if they'll still do it. if they're nice enough, they'll do it.

its a '97 2.2 manual (arent all 2.2's manual?) ... 161k miles would they still do it

Have your VIN number and EXACT mileage ready. They have to see if you fall under the extended warranty.
