Noise on acceleration

About a month and a half ago I had the CV axle replaced on my passenger side. Before that I had a very loud vibrating noise (almost like the noise when you go over those ridges on the edge of the freeway) and I assumed that was from the broken CV joint/axle. After I got it replaced though the noise was still there. It has now only become worse, and its extremely loud now, to a point where it overpowers the engine noise. I can also feel a vibrating in the brake/gas pedal. A visual inspection shows everything fine.

Any clue on what it could be? I know it has to be something with my driveshaft or those parts around it.

Also (not on topic)... does the engine have to be removed to replace motor mounts?

Wheel bearing? Does it sorta pulsate or sound like a washing machine? And does it intensify going around turns? As for the mounts.. not necessarily but you should generally hook up an engine hoist to support it while you change mounts. But I do not think it is possible to do all of them with it still in the car, but I am not sure. And if it is a wheel bearing you will want to get that fixed before it goes, if it locks up on you when you're on the highway that can be bad news.

seized caliper? No, the engine does not have to be removed to replace motor mounts.
