No start :(

last night i installed a new radio in my 98 3.0 evrything went well, i back it out of the garage and went inside to get dinner, came back out an hour later and now it wont crank over, the starter doesnt sound like its even trying, the battery is charged, could this be a fuse? or does it need a new starter?

Does it click when attempting to start?
Do interior lights dim when attempting to start?

No, it does not click and the lights do not dim, it acts like it would on a normal day but it will not crank over.

if no clicking; its the starter.

Try whacking it with something to see if it starts

Go through a process of elimination. Test your battery. Is it fully charged? Are the terminals corroded or loose? Check the cable that's running to your starter. Is it connected? Is the starter seeing 12v? Check your grounds next. Make sure they're all snug and have good connections. Does the interior power up when you turn your key forward?
