need help starting problem

hello guys
today i bought 97 2 door accord manual 5 speed.when i bought the car the check engine light was on and the car was working fine.iwent home and try to reset the check engine light by taking out the battery wire when i put the wire back now the car doesnt crank can any one tell me what is it?and now the check engine light working good but car doesnt crank.

Most likely explanation for no-start is you failed to securely install the battery cable and have poor electrical contact at battery.

Why not extract the CEL code and see what the problem may be. Check batauto.com for procedure to extract OBD1 engine code or go to Autozone, et al and they will extract OBD2 code.

Post back your code and we can provide some guidance on the problem/s.
