Is there a way to put a manual transmission in my '99 CL 2.3 that has a B6VA. I am a mechanic so complexity is not an issue; just new to the CL.

I imagine it would require an ECM, engine sensors, harness, pedal and hydraulics, tranny and clutch but; that's got to be better than another automatic that's going to fail in 30,000 miles.

Just wondering if this is something Acura people do. I need to get mine back on the road.

 

if I am not mistaken there has been people that have swapped the 2.x automatic to be a manual on here. I am not sure what is all needed but your list seems like everything I can think of that would be needed. The 3.0 swap is the one that no one has ever done before on here (unless they swap out the whole engine and transmission from a second generation CL
