Make Car go Faster

Ok so im looking for ways to make my 1997 3.0CL a little faster. Nothing too expensive...I have K&N filter but that probably doesnt matter. what are some good ways/tricks to make it quicker off the line without sacrificing too much fuel economy?

get super ripped and push it to victory.

get a catback exhaust. get headers. for better throttle response, you can tighten your throttle cable. and remove whatever unnecessary weight you can.

Do Intake,Exhaust and maybe cams?

If you do header's you do get a good flow, but VTEC quiets done.

I have a SRI and im doing exhaust and pulleys soon so for easy and cheap mods go intake and exhaust

dollar for dollar, i say 55 shot of the juice.
you can bolt in 55-75hp in about two hours, 250-300 start up cost and costs about 30-40 dollars to fill your tank when empty. my last tank lasted about two weeks with daily use.
but you might as well do the sri intake, bigger throttle body(reseach stock sizes and find a bigger oem, or go aftermarket), headers, hi-flo cat, and bigger cat back exhaust, find a chip for the ecu that will bump up fuel or get a vafc. it's all just bolt on stuff that goes with each other, ya know. more air in, more exhaust out, more fuel in= more hp out.
do all that with a little nitrous and it'll be nice surprise to haters.
screw the fuel economy

theres always somethn cheap to make a car go 'quiicker'
personally the lucas octane boost works pretty nice..
just put some in before fill up..acceleration gets a lil quicker..
and as everyone else said..a CAI will help.providing it doesnt rain much around wher u live...

Several bolt ons will give you a few horses, if you want to go faster, turbo or nitrous
