hi looked at a 99 cl 3.0 today, ran good, good power, but sounds like lifter noise even when warm, think it may just be the evap canister,,does anyone know where it is located on this model so i can listen in the right place? thank you in advance- 120k on odo-

 

check the evap purge solenoid, i've had mine start tapping when mounted on metal.
evap should be on the firewall, passenger side. i belive
