Intake question(Ive seachred)

Im not sure about other places but in Ontario we have to run a E-test/driveclean everysingle year when the vehicle is 3 years or older and when there 20 years they dont need one at all. Im coming up for one very sooon....I did it last year when i bought the car and it barely passed but it was also sittin a month before the day I tested it. Just changed the plugs on my 3.0 and thinking about doing a K&N drop in. Will the K&N drop in make me loose anything on the e-test or will I run alittle cleaner? Some say Vtec hits harder with a drop in then stock and yes i no SRI and CAI hit the hardest but is there a difference? Well thanks for any help i did search and couldnt find anything for the E-test.

I don't think the k&n would hurt anything

Why not just put the stock filter back in for the test and put the K&N back in after? Why risk introducing more air into the engine that might affect the test?
I doubt that the K&N would make a difference but it just seems like u want to play it safe.

depends on which engine you have.

accord intakes are your best bet when searching for them. i have a 94-97 accord 2.x intake

both engines are mounted the same way, only difference is the .2 liters.. if its an sri, chances are itll fit.. if you want an intake that will actually give you noticable gains, look into a BPI flowstack.
