installing a different airbag model

I want to replace the passenger airbag. I got a used airbag from a junk yard with the same color but different model #.

Is it okay if I install this airbag?

Should be ok, as long as it's a honda airbag and has the same plug, I swapped a 99 airbag onto my 97, and it worked with no problem, just make sure that the battery has been disconnected for at least a half hour before messing with airbags

i'm looking to replace my airbags too XO

Instead of replacing my bag in the driver's side i'm lookin to get a Momo wheel. If i ONLY replaced the module and side airbag would it still cause the srs light to come on? I know once you unplug either of the aigbag connectors it automatically shorts the connector out...

What side airbag? Driver side or passenger? If you remove the driver side you will need to get an srs trick module

Go behind the dash and unplug the SRS light.
