So here's the story, car started pissing coolant. I found the leak and it's from the left hose heading into the heater core, so I started to walk to the parts store, 3 km in a blizzard to get here and they ask me what size... Yea I need to know the size of this coolant hose, please help

 

They have no way of looking up the hose?
