How can I get clean off the yellow look on my lights?

I know the age of the car has the plastic yellowing I hope thats all it is. What would the best product be to clean them out to factory clear, or maybe... should i just buy new covers?

ps. I did a search before I posted this and didn't find anything.

get yourself some Plastix from Mcguires (i think), use a cut up bath towel and alot of elbow grease. You have to really rub it in and the friction with the Plastic will clear them up pretty good. You should be able to feel the heat from the friction under the towel if you are doing it right. I just used it today with pretty good results.

go to Discount Auto or Pep Boys and ask them for their light polishing kit. its in a Crome plastic bag. Works excellent only 20 bucks

Mine are the same way I have found that going to Advance Auto , or Autozone and buying their Headlight kit works very well. Mine came with a circular shaped polisher that goes into the end of a drill and you just polish it away. Its either that or buy some tire/rim cleaner spray it on and watch it come off. lol

tire/rim spray doesnt work that long, it only lasts like a week.
